Laidback!

Laidback would be the best word to describe my Saturday, same goes to most of my weekends.

I woke up..hurriedly searched for my phone..worried I might be late because I didn't hear the alarm..and laughed at myself because I almost forgot it's the...weekend! weekend! (Rebecca Black's Friday tune..haha!) I got up and jumpstarted my day with the world wide web. Note to self: Try to do some stretching first, will you? Lazy!

I planned to do some laundry in the afternoon but around 2pm it started raining. So, I gave in to the invitation of my bed and took a long nap (oxymoron right there!aren't naps supposed to be short?hahaha!) BUT before you start judging the sleepyhead in me, let me explain (sa presinto ka na magpaliwanag!Hahaha!).
Don't you all agree that the rain is the perfect bed weather? Besides, it was raining cats and dogs outside. I was thankful I didn't have to go to work in this weather. ZzzzZzz

Ate arrived from work and decided we order food from Sinangag Station and have it delivered. Convenient! No minimum order required!
I ordered Bangsilog while Ate ordered Adobosilog.
Yuuummmyyy! Busog! Did I ever tell you that when I eat bangus (most well done fried fishes actually), I don't leave anything except the tail and the fins? Dare me! Sarap to the fins!

I decided to spoil myself a little more with some pampering treat. I went to Nuat Thai for some full body massage.
Usually, I go there for foot massage in that comfortable black chair in the picture above. It is actually somehow complete, since they include other parts like your hands, neck, back and head. They also put hot beans on your neck and back for the whole duration of the massage. Add the music and the scent. Spell D-O-Z-E O-F-F!
This time I tried their Thai full body massage with Oil.
I always thought it was so painful. It was not. It was relaxing, eventhough you can not doze off as it requires your participation, like this one:
I think I heard my muscles and bones clicking. It was calming and soothing. I am satisfied. If you're thinking of a reward for yourself, get this one. Listen to your body. Pamper it.

Wait! There's more! Just when I thought my day is over, I turned on the TV, scanned the channels and found out it was the NBA vs PBA game. I situated in my favorite seat and had VJANDEP pastel beside me.
So surreal seeing CP3, Kobe, D'Rose, Durant, Harden, Evans, McGee playing in Araneta Coliseum. Not bad for the Philippines, at least they reached 100+.
Azkals VS Kuwait will be shown live in ABS-CBN but I'll probably be watching the replay instead. So, my day ends here.

I loooove weekends!

MOVIE REVIEW: TRANSFORMERS 3 ✔

I am not that much of a movie-goer, because I choose my movies. To share you a secret, I haven't actually watched Transformers 1 and 2. The Megan Fox-Michael Bay-Steven Spielberg drama endeared me to watch this. Hahaha!

I came in the theater without any expectations, except the part my sister told me. The part where Rosie first appeared, that is after the TRANSFORMERS name came out. When the movie started, I was in awe. The script. The story. The Action. The Drama. The Cast. Wow! Excerpt from a friend's text "Awesome!and I love the script..witty gyud. The perfect mix of scifi, alien stuffs, metal, comedy and hardcore action. " [yes!englishera ni siya!hahaha!]

This is the bonggang-bonggang cast.
Patrick Dempsey - sooo suave and so fresh.
Shia Labeouf - charming and funny.

Josh Duhamel - crush!crush!crush!mwahaha!

Sorry Megan!
But Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is kaboom!!Yes, lips pa lang...sizzle!
I choose Rosie over Megan simply because she is a Victoria Secret Angel. She's friends with Miranda Kerr and is dating Jason Statham. Plus I commend her for running in killer heels 'til the end.Super peg! More reasons...chuk!plak!pok!Check this out!

Hmmm..my favorite autobot has got to be Bumblebee! He's the cutest!

I give the movie only because some autobots died, especially that old one the deceptecons killed before targeting Bumblebee. Boohoo! But Ienjoyed the movie so much, I'm planning to watch the 1st and 2nd installment. 8D

MANILA in a month!

Warning: This will be long. I hope the pictures will help. 8D

June 6
Our officer told me I have to be in my uniform when I report to Makati so I flew via Cebu Pacific wearing my skirt-and-blouse of a uniform complete with maleta and handbag.

This is where I report to work everyday. In order to be here, 1st- sidecar ride to the kanto; 2nd- jeepney ride to MRT station; 3rd- MRT ride to Makati; then 4th- one last jeepney ride to Makati Medical Plaza. If you want, I can include the elevator ride to the 9th floor. Hahaha! The people were really nice to me, always asking how I am and sharing whatever food they have in the pantry. But if I have to be given an award it has to be "Most Behave", hahaha! I know how to speak Tagalog alright? fluent at that, but as much as possible I would want to avoid it. So, I love these one word wonders: bakit, saan, ano, talaga, magkano, ilan, oo nga, atbp. Sorry Dr. Jose Rizal pero bisdak man gud ko. Anyway, I was not here for vacation so most of the time it was work work work, notes-trainings-discussions-meeting-emails-updates-cash-inventory-sales-payables. So much information that I think my mind's about to blow-oh-oh oh oh oh (to the tune of Kesha's Blow!hahaha!crazyy!). Kidding aside, they made it easier for me by being friendly and helpful. Special mention to Kathy Ribaya who made sure I see all the celebs that visit the clinic, like Anne Curtis (thrice), Rhian Ramos (twice), Zsazsa Padilla, Angeline Quinto.
Enough of work, let's proceed to the little getaways I had.

Boo! I was sick on my first weekend so no super laag for me. But that doesn't mean I can't have fun. Who would say no to spending the weekend with these boys?
Haircut and Jollibee with Lance.

Ice cream and lego with Andrei.

Carry-carry with baby Nathan.

Second weekend. Andrei loves going out, even just a sidecar ride makes him uber happy. Today, my sister Jane and I together with Andrei were supposed to do an errand for mommy at CWL office-Kalaw but upon calling their office, a guard answered to inform us that they don't operate on weekends so we cancelled. BUT Andrei is all dressed up, excited and standing by the gate ready to go, telling him that we're not going anywhere will prolly mean one thing --> tantrums! So, we decided to go to Trinoma to have lunch instead. Look how happy he is:

In the afternoon, there was a sign of rain but that did not stop me from going to the wonderland of FOREVER21! It's like a fairytale, with all the dresses, accessories, colors..you just want to grab everything. Tip: Focus on what you need. Limit your budget so that you won't overspend.
** credits to LYNX **

I had to limit myself so here's a pair that didn't make it to the cashier (boohoo!).

Last weekend. This was after the sanib-pwersa of low pressure and Falcon. I was afraid it would mean no laag for me. But God loves me so much, He stopped the heavy rains. My sister Nikki arrived from Cebu around 10AM, she even said it was already sunny in Cebu when she left. We cooked humba and saging for lunch with sweet and spicy bagoong and ice cold Coca-Cola. Nom nom nom! After lunch, we settled for awhile then headed to Greenhills. Same tip mentioned above. Focus and Limit!!! (P.S. this only applies to those who have limited budget like me, alright?). Additional tips: Wear comfy shoes. Bargain. Say "wag na lang", so they will lower the price. Do quality check. Bring an honest shopping partner that knows how to say "no!dili bagay!". 8D
The next day, we decided to meet up with Iryl at Rockwell where we saw Kuya Kim. Andrei must have had a crush on his Tita Iryl because he was doing all pa-cute stuff and this big boy stare...Hahaha!
We did grocery and saw the pretty DJ Andi Manzano and Ms. Earth Phil. Sandra Seifert. Then, we had dinner at Dulcinea.

That was pretty much it. Not to mention the baha where we had to walk to Greenbelt with our pants folded to our knees. That was an experience I want to forget, so let us skip the details. In sum, I actually enjoyed the whole trip. The moment I stepped out of the house, I missed my nephews already.

So long Manila. 'Til we meet again. ;)

I am soooo back!!!

Yes!I am back from my 1-month training in Manila.

Usually, when I go home to Talisayan, I hate the day where I have to go back to Cebu. But during my training in Manila, I've always thought of the day I ride that plane to Cebu. Aaah, Cebu! My only consolation is going home to my sister's house and spend the night and the weekend with my nephews -which I will share in another entry later-.

On my way back to Cebu, I was made to bring with me a boxful of medicines and supplies for the clinic. And so, imagine my distress when officers in that Xray machine questioned me about it. They were asking me if I had some papers or documents permitting me to carry those meds. I answered in the calmest way possible (though so alarmed inside) by saying it was just creams and if they want they can open it. They gave me questioning looks still. So, I talked and kaching! *lightbulb popping in my head* (how could I forget?!) mentioned "Belo clinic", then *BINGO!*they suddenly became friendly and even assisted me in putting the box in the cart with smiles. Why? Whew!had I known...

After all the drama and the delay in our flight, I arrived in Cebu safe and sound BUT short of Krispy Kreme for pasalubong (this is another sad and long story so let's leave it, shall we?). Mactan Airport. Cebu!

The next day - Friday- , I was on my way to work. I was 30 minutes earlier than the usual but wudjubilibit? I arrived 15 minutes late. That is because of CITOM!wudjubilibit? They apparently assigned a traffic enforcer in Mango Avenue, near Fooda that caused the heavy traffic. As in 5-meter move every 5 minutes more or less. Really? CITOM. Sooo Cebu! Sooo back!

Back to work!Back to work!
