It was one fine saturday, a day before Gelli's birthday. Gelli was on birthday leave so we planned:
~~ early morning jogging
~~ ukay-ukay and thrift finds in Carbon
~~ Joed's japanese food.
We sit almost all the time in the office so we need to flex our muscles. We jogged at Abellana Sports Center.
We left our bags at Gracey's apartment, so we weren't able to take pictures of our jogging outfits (good thing!Haha!). The crowd ranges from kids running around to serious athletes practicing to pa-cool nakajacket and shades dudes to dudettes in sexy-fitting attire to students doing PE to nakapambalay-loose shirts-amateur joggers like us. You will blend in for sure. Gelli and I actually started our exercise even before we entered the oval because we walked to the main entrance when there was a shortcut just around 5 meters from where we were (oh weell!). Our jog started with a short warm-up and we finished around 10rounds, but more walking actually as we always talk and laugh so we run out of air easily. There are times though that we run really fast, that is when we pass by that buslot-of-a-goal the soccer players use because you'll never know when the ball strikes. It was exhausting but fun and rewarding after.
After the run, we changed and relaxed for a while at Gracey's apartment and lookie lookie!
Lindtt chocolate from Gracey's parents. Gelli got coffe and mine was milk. Thank you! We saw an old telephone and took the photo op.
We then had lunch at Emall just infront of the apartment. There I realized these girls have an eye for ukay! You already! Gelli found a super cute cardigan that we all loved but decided to give it to Grace for her trip to HK. Grace and I paid for 1 item Gelli chose, as our birthday gift (how convenient!hahaha!). We then headed to the place to be, Carbon!Hahaha! Early on, Gelli told us to be as yagit as possible to avoid pickpocketers. Hence, the title.
Achieved?
After having bought cute items and zigzagging the Lincoln street, we now rode our 1st jeepney ride to Joed's while eating santol. I said 1st because it took us 4 rides to get to the place, not that it was far far away but because we kinda got lost. Gelli, born and raised in Cebu but got lost. Hahaha! Our theme song was "what a journey it has been...". If it were not for Alex who volunteered to pay for the taxi just so we could get to the place already, it would have taken us longer to have known that the place was actually closed and that it already transferred to a new location. Boohoo!Ktnxbye! Now, all we could think was an ice cold Coke. Since we failed in japanese food, we went to SM for some chinese food at Harbour City.
And to quench our thirst
Gracey consumed two cans. Thirsty much!
Then, yogurt fix!
Then, at last HOME. It was really tiring but all the laughing compensated it.
I was actually torn between "yagit" and "wacky" in this post since I have a lot of wacky photos with them that I wanted to share. So here goes.
