Feeling Expert 1! ♚

I am sharing this because I was happy it turned out fine , according to my brother who asked for more when I made him try 1 set. Honestly, I am not at all good in the kitchen, hence the title (feelingera lang gyud ko). Hahaha!

[Insert backstory here ]

If my memory serves me right, I was still in grade school when I remember cooking tinola with no salt for my Dad. See? I was an expert in the kitchen at a young age. Hahaha! I don't remember wanting to be a cook though, I think I was forced to. Hahaha! One time, my mom told me to fry some fish. While waiting for the oil to be ready, I watched TV and the next thing I knew she was furious because apparently I forgot about it (1st foul!). Then, I stubbornly fried them that when I served it, it didn't look like fish anymore (2nd foul). I did it on purpose so that she won't trust me in the kitchen again (ahah!brilliant idea!). But, but, but my mom is a different one, she told me that I will have to cook even more to perfect it (gaaawd!brilliant idea went down the drain!Hahaha!). It was like that until I've learned to love the kitchen eventually. Now challenge me with onion-chopping, game! Feeling expert tip: Have salt beside you when chopping onions, stare at it when you're about to cry. Oha? ;p

One more story. My mom usually travels out of town during summer breaks so I would be left with my 3 brothers since my ate attends summer classes. You know these boys, if you leave them in the kitchen, you'll be eating canton and boiled egg all your life. Hahaha! Except on days that they get in the mood to grill and we would have a little picnic in the lawn. So I experiment most of the time and they would have to endure with whatever I come up with.

Fast forward. Speaking of experiment, I wanted to make use of the ham that was given to me. That time, I was craving for club house with lotsa cheese and onions and tomatoes. So, I did some grocery and had some ideas in mind. Here goes:

Ingredients.
Personalized onion rings: dipped in egg and stir-fried.

Layering.
The best thing about making it yourself is you can have as much as you want.
More tomatoes? Onions? Cheese?

Voila! Served with chips.
Add your choice of mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc.

It was yummy and heavy on the tummy. 8D

We all have hidden "feeling expert" and even expert tips, right? Share it. Come on! Don't be shy. 8D

P.S. Notice the "1" after the "Feeling Expert" in the title? There is another one coming. Hahaha! Since I am feeling extra feelingera these days. ;p
